Deep POV Presented by Jill Elizabeth Nelson
Have you ever read a book that drew you into the main characters' minds and hearts so completely that you felt as if you were experiencing the story inside their skins? Didn't your reading pleasure hit a new high? You knew those characters from the inside out. Their experiences were your own. Why? How did that happen? What did the writer do to gain that affect? Join suspense author, Jill Elizabeth Nelson, for Rivet Your Reader with Deep Point of View to find out the answers. The course will define Deep Point of View, identify ways the technique will help your writing, demonstrate how to apply Deep POV to first and third person storytelling, and train you how to spot where your manuscript can most be strengthened by employing Deep POV. The class will include specific examples, exercises, and hands-on practice to develop a skill that can take your writing to a fresh new level. Ever gnashed your teeth over the elusive victory in the "show/don't tell" battle? Mastering Deep POV will deal the death blow to those unconscious "tells," and put you in charge of the rhythm and flow of your story.
